Board Approves RCEA Resolution

Attached here is the resolution proposed by RCEA and WVEA which the Raleigh County Board of Education unanimously approved calling on the U.S. Senate to pass the HEROES Act to supply the funding needed to states and local schools for dealing with the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The BOE also commits to work with RCEA to make sure schools are opened safely and the needs of our students and their families are met and to take input from RCEA and members in developing what is in the best interest of our students, families, schools, communities, and employees. We are appreciative of the continued support our local Board and Superintendent show and their willingness to listen to input from those in the local schools.
