Welcome to Our Newest Officer

Welcome to Rachel McAlister, who was elected to serve out this year's term as the Treasurer for RCEA and the RCEA PAC. Rachel has worked at each of the high schools in the county in various teaching and coaching positions and is currently a Health and Physical Education teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School.

Rachel comes from a teaching family. Her mother, Susie Clark, and father, Steve Clark are retired educators/coaches/athletic trainers in Raleigh County with Steve retiring from Shady Spring High School and a Physical Education teacher and basketball coach and Susie retiring as the Science Dept. chair at Woodrow Wilson High School and as well as teaching college courses.

Rachel is the wife of Steve McAlister and the mother of Mason. She also serves as a realtor with West Virginia Mountaineer Real Estate and works as a foster pet parent with Operation Underdog.

Rachel takes over for Jo Frost. We are fortunate to have Jo continue as a member of the Executive Committee for RCEA. Both women also serve as building reps at WWHS.
